  In growing up in the church all my life I always wondered, if I invite people who don't follow Christ would they be turned off about the message and the religious structure. Since coming to DHC you can tell that something is different about the message, people and their willingness to connect with the community. Can't wait to see what the future has for them.

  I have had good and bad experiences at churches, DHC is a fantastic church! There are awesome environments for children from birth through 5th grade and amazing volunteer opportunities for everyone 6th grade and above. Everyone cares enough to genuinely want to know how your week has been and pays attention to the answer. You can't go wrong with this church!!!

  Amazing leadership team. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed, truly welcomed. Great music and practical real life messages add to the overall experience.
  
  For those with children, the youth ministry is just as great. The staff and volunteers are focused on building relationships with the kids while providing the kids with biblical lessons they can relate to.
  
  If you are looking for an authentic church home, where all are welcome no matter where you are in you walk, this is the place for you!

  After having disconnected from the church over 20+ years ago, I decided to to see if I could find a church that would allow me to build a relationship with God at my own pace. I was looking for something that in no way, shape or form reminded me of the less than stellar experiences I recalled from my youth. With that in mind, I pulled up Google and searched for the following: "Non-denominational, Christian church, that doesn't feel like Church" and voila, up came Downtown Harbor Church. In addition to not wanting church to conjure up feelings of what drove me away initially, it was important to me that I find a church that was judgement free, open-minded, focused on delivering messages in a way that were practical to this day and age and genuinely wanted to make the community around them a better place for all.
  
  What I found, was so much more than that! I found an extension to my family. I found a church filled with real people that helped me strengthen my own internal and spiritual foundation. The energy I leave DHC with these last 9 months, while walking along my own personal (and judgement free) journey, is truly a gift! Thank you Adam Duckworth, John Garippa and all the DHC volunteers for all you are doing for this community and people like me! If you are even simply looking to scratch an itch of curiosity, to see if a place like Downtown Harbor Church could be the right fit for you, take the leap and join us some Sunday. You won't regret it!

  What you will find at DHC: Grace/Acceptance/Friends/Inspiring Worship!
  I wanted to connect in the downtown community of Fort Lauderdale, but was surprised when I didn't see much offered in the area. Finally, an organically growing church of young adults and families sprang up! We have such a need for God's love in downtown, and now there is a place to come together.
